| i have been washing bedspreads today! | | hello all of my good friend's here at Mylot!i have been busy all day today washing everybody's bed sheets, pillow cases, bedspreads and any extra blankets that needed washed as well. whoo hoo! i have a clean bed to sleep in tonight![em]happy[/em] i used Tide with a touch of Downey in it and my bedroom smells so good and fresh. i also washed my ten year olds bed things as well. and tomorrow i will wash the seven year old bed things. i dusted and cleaned the hardwood floors in my bedroom as well today. so i ought to sleep good tonight! unless i am too tired to sleep. lolso tell me, when is the last time that you-all washed your bedspreads and bed sheets?have a beautiful afternoon. | |
| | Couch Covers or Sheets or Bedspreads? | | Most my friends here have seen p[hotos of my couch, love seat, and recliners covered usually with a sheet. This is due to dads leaky bladder problems but also to keep my Busters fur from being stuck top them. It's a lot of work to vacuum the fur off the pieces of furniture. Especially the couch and love seat. They are made out of a fuzzy material. The fur sticks to it like a magnet drew it there and refuses to let it go. Well here's a photo of the love seat without the cover on it for a change. HAHAHA! I don't think I've ever had a photo posted of them without a sheet on them. So that's what actually prompted this discussion. So do you use, or own the fancy type of "couch covers"? Or are you like me and go the cheap route using a sheet, blanket, or bedspread? For really nice looking and quality covers I am looking at over $400 for the couch, love seat, and 2 recliners. So that's why I choose the sheets etc. HAHAHA! Do you hate when it's shedding season and the fur flies all over the house? I want to shave my dog as bare as a babys behind at times. HAHAHA! That won't happen. Dad and my wife would kill me.

| Utilization of the coverings? | | When you sleep how do you use your covers, blankets, bedspread, sheets etc? Are you the type that throws the covers over your head hiding from the world? Are you the type that just holds onto the covers not caring how much of your body is covered? Are you the type that steals the covers from your mate at night? I am the type that holds a corner and covers all my body except for my feet. I can not stand my feet under the covers at all. I use the sheet, blanket and bedspread even in the summertime. | | What's your favorite size bed? | | I like the twin size bed. It's big enough for just one person. Noone can hog my covers at night or demand that I move over even closer to the edge. I hate the full size bed. It's barely big enough for two full grown adults. But, it's just big enough to give the illusion that it'll be comfortable, but it never is. Most of all, I love the king sized bed. It's basically the size of two twin size beds. The very next bed that I buy will be king sized. That will give me just enough room for my three cats too. | When the weather gets cold how many blankets to you use at night? | | Although the days here in Boston are very nice the nights are getting very cold. I started taking my blankets out of storage. I'm not comfortable sleeping with a lot of blankets so when I make my bed I only put a sheet and a comforter. Right now the comforter is just enough for me and I even sleep with the bedroom window open a few inches. Probably by the time October gets here I'll add a blanket under the comforter. Most of the time I will end up throwing the comforter off myself while I'm sleeping because I can't sleep if I'm too hot and since the heat will be going on I definitely won't need both.Are you the type who likes to sleep under a lot of blankets when it's cold? Do you make your bed with a blanket or just keep one folded at the bottom of the bed just in case? | |

| | How do I handle an indolent/lazy partner? | | Hi all, My husband is very lazy. He doesnt fold his clothes nor does keep things in its place.. He does not keep the shoes in the rack.. He throws everything and doesnt know to keep things properly.. So I am doing all the work, starting from folding his bedspreads, washing his plates, cleaning the clutter. Even if i keep telling him to do his work, he is not lending his ears..
