| | How often do you change your bedding? | | I got to discussing this recently and there were some pretty big differences! How often do you change and wash your bedding? This would include sheets and pillow cases, comforters and duvet covers, pillows themselves, and anything else you regularly keep and use on your bed most nights.I thought the average or norm was maybe once a week or so, but I have heard anything from every other DAY to once a YEAR. LOL! | |

| Have you ever tie-dyed anything? | | Ok, my duvet covers that were once plain white are now a rather unnappetising shade of beige. I have no idea how this came about but now I want to dye them. Tie dye sounds nice. Can anyone recommend how to go about tie dying? I have a few different colour dyes there.Preferably would like to dye these duvets 2 different colours or as many as possible. | |
| | Needle and Thread | | Well I was not going to tell this one as I feel so embarrassed but my Dear Friend Brendalee mentioned needle and thread in my Discussion about my Creation of that lovely Bottle
Well needle and thread are such fun at times
Last week I had to sew a Button on a Duvett Cover now I hate sewing I always have but this Button had to bo as I kept catching my Foot in the stupid thing
So here I sit sewing away quite happily (well not quite) anyway the Button is on, so I pull of the thread and that go to pick up the Duvet Cover to fold and well ........ it is stuck to me, hmmmmm wonder how that happened, well I know what happened I had only sewn my trousers to the Duvet Cover as well, now as the Duvet Cover did not suit me as a Skirt I had to remove it. The problem I had I could not remember where I had put the small Scissors, so I had to walk round the Flat with this cover attached to me looking for them, to make things worse Gissi likes Duvet Covers and he is following me round digging on the Cover obviously thinking I am playing a game with him. I did not find him funny as he is digging because as he is doing that my Trousers are pulling and it is a good job I had a belt on or I would... | |

| do you starch your pillowcases? | | i was doing it this afternoon and wondering if others also do it. i find it really helpful. the pillow covers remain stiff adn last longer. also they dont come off the pillow. they are probably the onyl yhing that i starch so regularly, i dont starch clothes regularly...ok so do u? | |
| | In your opinion where do all the lost socks go to? | | If you anything like me you will have at least 50 socks that do not have a matching one, I usually keep them for around 6 months to see if the lost sock turns up, but it very rarely does! Where do you think they go to? They can't get stuck in the washing machine else it would get blocked up. I've sometimes found the odd one thats got stuck in trouser legs or duvet covers but where do the rest go?? Any ideas oh and any ideas what I can do with the odd socks instead of throwing them away? | |
