| | Milk And Milk Substitutes For Better Health | | The doctor has recently advised me to steer away from milk which are sourced from animals. He mused that my son's health has been continuously improving and it might still get better if i stop giving him animal sourced milk.This means that I have to cut on those milks which i easily get hold of from the grocery store. As well as, those cheeses. These are all among my son's favorite foods. And hey, there's ice cream, too, to be cut from his food list!Help! Friends, will you please give me some suggestions as to how will i be able to compensate for the food types which i have to let go with? My son, who has been suffering from leukemia all these years, is lucky to have made it through life until now, living and getting better as time goes by. Now, the doctor's advise is something which i must follow if I want to see my son get better still. | |

| | How would you feel if you dont get responses for your discussions | | hi mylotters we all start discussions here get responses for some of our discussions whereas we dont get responses for some of ours and what will be the feeling in you if you dont get responses for a discussion even after a long time and how you take itI had experienced many times here in mylot,most of my discussions would not get responses and the next time when i start i tried to find out what actually is the problem and luck also favors sometimes in getting responses.And the time we start and if the same topic has been discussed many times before,that does happen obviously.And even a good discussion with quality content cant get more responses if the title is bad and tagging too will help members in replying. | |

| Mushroom.. a vegetarian or non-vegetarian? | | Me and my friend went lunch to a nearby restaurant. I knew he is absolute vegetarian ..so i ordered only veg items. One of the item was Veg Mushroom-Handi Biryani. My friend refused eating it saying IT IS NON-VEG!I wasted some time explaining that it is veg, but he did not agree. I feel Mushrooms are vegetarian... They are not concieved in anyone's uterus and don't take birth by emerging out of anyone's vagina.. and don't consist blood..!In school we were taught that Mushrooms are a type of fungus that grows on dead skin of trees. They are parasites and live off whatever the tree produces!I feel those are reasons enough to prove to friend that Mushrooms are Vegetarian. now you guys tell me ..wether i was wrong or right? | |

| | My flowers lasted two weeks already! | | Hi everyone... I got some beautiful flowers on Valentine's Day and they are still beautiful. They came with some plant food, and I have changed their water and fed them each time. There are some roses, and some white flowers that I don't know what they are, and carnations, with baby's breath in there and some greenery. They are still beautiful. One has started to wilt and that is all so far. Have you had flowers last this long before? I am not a flower person.. don't know one flower from another except daisies, and violets, and some others.. but I just don't know much about flowers. I am so happy that they have lasted this long. They are decorating my desk all this time and they still look pretty. Ladies, are your valentine flowers still alive and well? I'm going to hate when they die. I wish I could preserve them somehow. | |
